For young scientists and artists alike! Astronomy is all about using light and color to study the universe. In this camp with astronomer Dr. Mindy Townsend, students in Grades 6-8 can join us for an incredible summer camp adventure on Siena College campus.
Activities during this week include learning about how different types of light can unlock the secrets of the cosmos, building your own spectroscope, understanding the visible and invisible colors of stars and galaxies, learning how to take pictures without a fancy camera, and more. No previous astronomy knowledge is required.
