Animals Under the Snow!
Sunday, February 16, 2020 – 11 am
at Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center
Columbia County Soil & Water Conservation District
1024 State Route 66, Ghent, NY 12075
Surviving the winter can be a struggle for many animals. Join us at Mud Creek on February 16th to learn how critters cope with the winter’s cold. How do animals stay warm and find food? What is the difference between hibernation and torpor? Do frogs really freeze? Come find out!
We will explore the world of winter adaptations both inside and outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
