2026 Annual Spring Hawk Watch & Hawk Identification Workshop
Join us for this annual nature event at the Arboretum, a day observing hawks in migration over the Schoharie Valley. We will gather at the Meeting House and hope to see bald eagles, sharp-shinned hawks, osprey, and the longest travelers, broad-winged hawks - among other raptors on the move. The Watch begins at 10:00 AM and continues all day until 4:00 PM - drop in when you can and stay as long as you like. A Hawk Identification Workshop will be held at 2:00 PM.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
