The Arts Center engages people in the creative experience. We offer classes for adults and camps for kids in a variety of media, like painting, drawing, pottery, jewelry making, woodworking, dance, photography, and stained glass. SPORTIME Capital Region

Located in the heart of NY’s Capital Region, this SPORTIME club, which recently received a $5+ million, top to bottom, renovation, features six indoor hard-surface tennis courts, eight outdoor Har-Tru, soft-surface, tennis courts, a 12,500 square foot turf field enclosed, year-round, in a climate controlled air-structure, a fully-equipped fitness center offering the latest in cardio, strength training and functional equipment, four indoor hybrid pickleball courts, our Eager Explorers preschool/daycare center, and a great indoor/outdoor summer multi-sport camp facility, including an outdoor pool. Shaker Heritage Society

The Shaker Heritage Society offers programming and events for all ages and educates visitors about the history and influence of the Shakers. The site itself is practically an oasis near the Albany Airport. Our grounds are open daily from dawn until dusk. Visitors can just enjoy the landscape and historic setting, walk to the nearby Ann Lee Pond Nature preserve, and picnic on the grounds. The museum is open mid-March through mid-December and sponsors a number of programs and tours.

Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site

Schuyler Mansion was home to Philip J. Schuyler, the Revolutionary War Major General, US Senator, agrarian, and businessman. He and his wife, Catharine Van Rensselaer, descended from affluent and powerful Dutch families. Together they raised eight children in this home. Today, visitors can enjoy guided tours of the mansion, as well as an orientation exhibition in the Visitor Center focusing on the 18th century history of the site and its inhabitants.
