The Shenendehowa High School Musical Company proudly presents Kopit and Yeston’s Phantom in the High School East Auditorium. Set in Paris around 1900, Phantom is a musical with a book and lyrics by Arthur Kopit and music by Maury Yeston (composer of the Broadway musicals Nine and Titanic). The show is based on the novel The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. Filled with beautiful music, this adaptation follows the novel more closely than the more widely known Lloyd Webber version.
