Come join us as we take a walk to look for these beautiful butterflies!
Place: Fox Parcel on Route 50.
The endangered Karner blue butterfly has two broods every summer. Its adult life span is very short and only lasts for one to two weeks. This year, the first brood was very early so we expect the second brood to be early too. Even though the second brood is usually starts in early July and lasts for a few weeks, this year, it may being in mid to late-June and last into the first part of July. So come join us as we take a walk to look for these beautiful butterflies in their second brood; it will be the last opportunity to see them until next year!
Preregistration is always appreciated at info@wiltonpreserve.org or 518-450-0321.
