Moreau Lake State Park's Nature Center is located near the beach and features live animals, seasonal exhibits, wildlife mounts and hands-on activities. The park staff offers year-round educational programs for school groups, youth organizations, and clubs. They also lead nature-based recreation programs for people of all ages including hiking and snowshoeing on over 40 miles of trails and kayaking on the Hudson River and Moreau Lake. Exhibits and displays include live native and non-native reptiles, bird viewing area, pelts, skulls, insect and wild animal mounts, books, coloring pages, games, and seasonal exhibits that highlight the ever-changing cycles of nature.
