YMCA CAMP KENAN is a summer camp located along the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario. Offering enriching overnight and day camp experiences for youth, it blends outdoor adventure with character-building activities. Campers enjoy swimming, sports, ropes courses, arts, campfires, fostering friendships and fun. For over 100 years, we have been providing a safe and inspiring environment for children to explore nature and create lasting memories.

Nestled on the picturesque shores of Lake Cobbosseecontee in Monmouth, Maine, our all-girls camp offers a perfect blend of fun, friendship, and personal growth. Whether you’re a returning camp family or considering your very first summer away, you’ll find that Kippewa is a warm, welcoming, and vibrant community. At Kippewa, we welcome new campers with open arms. Whether your daughter is just starting out in 2nd grade, is ready to dive into camp life at 11, or is seeking a fresh experience as a teen, she will quickly feel at home. Our dedicated counselors lead engaging tours, fun name games, and interactive icebreakers that help every girl connect, make friends, and build confidence from day one.

The Shaker Heritage Society offers programming and events for all ages and educates visitors about the history and influence of the Shakers. The site itself is practically an oasis near the Albany Airport. Our grounds are open daily from dawn until dusk. Visitors can just enjoy the landscape and historic setting, walk to the nearby Ann Lee Pond Nature preserve, and picnic on the grounds. The museum is open mid-March through mid-December and sponsors a number of programs and tours.

Southwoods is a 2 or 3 week, co-ed, traditional sleepaway camp located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. We believe that acts of bravery, no matter the size, are important; that each child should be known and celebrated for their authentic selves; and that through active listening, empathy, and embracing the adventure all around us, we can give our campers a safe place to explore, express, and grow. From the 3 C’s to Huddle Up and everything in between, we can give our campers a community they’ll care for year after year, generation after generation.
