Tomie DiPaola's The Legend of the Poinsettia
*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 12/11/2018
Come learn the beautiful story of Lucida and the legend of the Poinsettia, a favorite Christmas tale from Mexico.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Lucida is heartbroken because she has nothing beautiful to bring to the Christmas procession, so she decides to watch from the shadows. But when an old woman convinces her that the Baby Jesus will love anything she can give, Lucida's simple gift turns out to be the most miraculous gift of all.
Come join us for an afternoon of learning the true spirit of the holidays as we follow Lucida's story of the gift of giving and take home a poinsettia craft of your own.
