Join Albany Academy Coach Mike Murray for an exciting and educational swim camp designed for swimmers of all skill levels! This camp focuses on developing essential swimming skills, introducing participants to competitive swimming, and refining stroke techniques. Under the guidance of Coach Murray, campers will engage in personalized training sessions that emphasize proper technique, speed, endurance, and race strategies.
Whether your child is a beginner eager to learn the fundamentals or an experienced swimmer looking to take their skills to the next level, this camp offers a structured environment to foster improvement and confidence in the water. The curriculum will include targeted drills, video analysis, and in-water coaching to help swimmers master the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
In addition to technique-focused practice, participants will also be introduced to the world of competitive swimming, learning about pacing, starts, turns, and finishes. Campers will have the opportunity to challenge themselves in time trials, receive valuable feedback, and gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed in swim competitions.
Camp hours: 9:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. (Drop off 8:45-8:55 a.m.)
