Shibori Fabric Dyeing Class
Shibori is an ancient Japanese way to dye patterns on cloth using folding techniques to keep the dye from saturating all the fibers, thus revealing a pleasing number of patterns. Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Please wear black or dark clothing and old shoes. If you have long hair, a scarf or scrunchy would be wise. Each person will leave with a 1 yard piece of dyed cloth or a 27” square kitchen towel. Please indicate your preference when you register. Register soon: class size: minimum 5 persons, maximum 10.
Location: Farmhouse Welcome Center Instructor: Wendy Kass
Members: $35/person; non-members: $40/person (includes a $25 materials fee)
