PRE-TEEN/TEEN CAMP (AGES 12 & Up): Metalworking and Jewelry

You will focus on traditional metalworking skills as well as experience the newest ways of working with metal in this camp. You will learn to cut, pierce, form, file, join, and finish metals on their way to finishing several projects, including jewelry, in various metals. You’ll work with torches and saws and files, all with an eye on safety. Creativity will be encouraged as you develop your own designs while working safely.

The instructor will guide your creative efforts in addition to class demonstrations. This camp involves the use of hand and power tools requiring fine motor coordination.
