The National Museum of Dance is pleased to announce Night at the Museum Live! on Thursday, February 13. From 6 to 6:40 pm, dancers and movers of all ages and levels are invited to create movement inspired by the exhibitions. From 6:45 to 8 pm, doors will open for visitors to view the exhibitions with dancers bringing the Museum to life. Exhibitions that will come to life include Art of the Dance: Posters from Hollywood’s Golden Age, On Being Still: Portraits by Joanne Savio, and the Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney Hall of Fame. We look forward to this one-night-only event and how these exhibitions inspire movers to bring the installations to life with their own choreography and improvisation.
