10:00 AM - Naturalists as Reading Partners: Ookpik, The Travels of a Snowy Owl
Join us as we learn about majestic owls and how different species adapt to winter. 
A naturalist will read a story, then we’ll go outdoors to find evidence of owls. We’ll end with a craft in our visitor center. All are welcome, but this program is most appropriate for children ages 3-7. Parents must accompany children.
2:00 PM - Naturalists as Reading Partners: Sky Tree
Join us as we discover the transformations trees go through to prepare for winter and the upcoming spring. A naturalist will read a story, then we’ll go outdoors to explore some of the themes in the book. We’ll end with a craft in our visitor center. All are welcome, but this program is most appropriate for children ages 3-7. Parents must accompany children.
