Mercury Transit - miSci (museum of innovation and science)

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 11/11/2019
Join the Dudley Observatory at miSci to watch Mercury transit the sun! Our 14inch telescope will be equipped with a solar filter to safely watch Mercury march across the face of the sun. A Mercury transit will not be visible from our location again until the year 2049!!

Note: special equipment is required to safely look at the sun. Never look directly at the Sun without proper eye protection. You can seriously hurt your eyes and even go blind.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
