Gardeners can purchase plants and cuttings from the museum’s Botanical Specimen Garden. Many of the plants on sale are propagated from hardy, well-established rootstock by Patrick MacGregor, Master Gardener and Assistant Manager of Interpretive Programs at The Farmers’ Museum. Find a selection of hardy perennials as well as pumpkin, squash, cucumber, and multiple varieties of tomatoes. With their unique character, heritage varieties make an excellent addition to any gardener’s landscape. The museum’s stores have many items for experienced and beginning gardeners: tools, hydroponic herb growing kits, the latest books, and seeds for heirloom varieties of vegetables, flowers, and herbs.
The sale takes place outside the museum’s main entrance.
