Join Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District at the Claverack Free Library on July 24th to learn about the MOON! Pamela Price, Certified Wildlife Biologist and Education Program Coordinator at Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center will help us discover why the Moon looks different throughout the month. We will also celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 - and learn about how Neil Armstrong took the first steps on the moon’s surface on July 20, 1969 as the world watched on television! Then learn to make a Moon Phase Calendar and Calculator so you can figure out what time of day and where you can see your favorite moon phases! Please join us for this fun event for the whole family!
