Kid's Wildflower Seed Ball Hands-On Workshop

Join us for a fun outdoor workshop for kids! We will be making seed balls just in time for early spring tossing! The kiddos (and parents) will learn about all the interesting insects and bugs that find their way into the wildflower patches, and all about seed germination, flower pollination, and other awesome things that happen in the natural world when we help Mother Nature by sewing seeds that make her job easier! Come have fun! Ticket price includes a parent (or two) and one child. You will leave the workshop with wildflower seed balls and a packet of wildflower seeds that can create a 15-30 square feet wildflower patch.
Recommended ages 4+ but we think a 3 year old could still have fun!
About The Teachers: Richard Daley is an environmental educator who specializes in gardening and agricultural education. He is a certified NYS Agriculture teacher for grades 7-12, and has worked with various non-profit and community organizations in the Capital District, and with kids of all ages.
