Kids’ Day at Peebles Island State Park

Join us for our second annual Kids' Day at Peebles Island. Learn about the animals who live in the Park by studying their tracks, pelts, and skulls. Create a creature using a variety of art and craft supplies. Make a compass and learn about geocaching. Take home a bird feeder for the feathered friends in your yard.
Learn about the Island with a short, guided walk. Relax in our study center and take advantage of our nature library. Free informational pamphlets will be available to take home.
Back by popular demand! Build a bluebird house! There is a limited number of houses available. REGISTRATION is a MUST to build a house. Register by email at friendsofpeebles@gmail.com. Families welcome. One birdhouse per family. Children must be accompanied by an adult. A $3.00 materials fee is requested to build a house.
