Juneteenth--Celebrating the End of Slavery with Hamilton Hill Arts Center in Schenectady

Dating back to 1865, Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. June 15th an 16th at Central Park and Vale Cemetary. This is a celebration of freedom with good food, music and venders that celebrate black culture. Bring your family to the park for a day of fun. Vendors, kids' activities, pony rides, African dancers, head wrapping workshop,and much more.
