First Sunday Free: Hearth & Home

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 03/03/2019
On this First Sunday Free at the Clark, check winter doldrums at the door and spend the day celebrating all things cozy in the spirit of the Danish concept of hygge and other heartwarming traditions from around the world. Settle in by the digital hearth in the Michael Conforti Pavilion to write “warm fuzzies” to friends and family, make your own cocoa blend to enjoy on a frosty day, and use our fiber art materials to create a weaving project that’s soft to the touch.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

In common spaces around the museum pick up a sketch pad and self-guide to use in the galleries. At a special station downstairs in the Clark Center, watch local fiber artists at work at their looms and enjoy live music that's good for the soul.

From 11am-3pm in the Manton Study Center for Works on Paper, listen along to a pop-up exhibition of interior scenes and complementary audio.

All activities and admission to the galleries are free as part of the Clark’s First Sundays Free program, supported by funding from the officers and employees of Allen & Company, Inc.
