1024 State Route 66, Ghent, NY 12075
Come to Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District on Saturday, July 13th to spend part of the afternoon with us drawing inspiration from nature. Take a walk on the Mud Creek trail with Pamela Price, Certified Wildlife Biologist and Education Program Coordinator, as we use all of our senses to discover the wonders of Mud Creek and the surrounding wetlands! We will make several stops along the way to observe what is happening and record what we see and hear in our own creative way. Participants are encouraged to combine bark rubbing, drawing, poetry, short stories, scientific data collection, and more to document their visit. You may bring your own journal or use materials we provide. Please join us for this fun interactive family event!
Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District (www.ccswcd.org) provides educational programs and services to help residents and communities manage and protect the natural resources of Columbia County.
