'Cats Academy Pitching & Catching Camp (10-13 Year Olds)

Three days of instruction for kids ages 10 to 13!
Our Pitching & Catching Majors Camp will be held on July 20-22, 2022 from 9:00 AM until Noon. Rain date is Saturday, July 23, 2022.
This program is designed to teach players how to build their individual skills as a pitcher or catcher. With a limited number of participants, ValleyCats players and coaching staff will be able to adjust drills and exercises according to each group of campers.
Pitchers will learn proper throwing mechanics, along with information on proper grips for fastball and off-speed pitches. This is a drill focused camp that will give players a multitude of ways to practice at home.
Catchers will learn the responsibilities of being a catcher (receiving, blocking, throwing, tag plays, bunts, and pop-ups) while learning the most specialized position on the field.
*All campers will participate in pitching and catching activities that help them to understand both positions and how they work together.
Camp will include:

- Lunch Each Day
- (4) Grandstand Ticket Vouchers for a 2022 Game
- Emailed Tips from 'Cats Players and Coaching Staff
