Atlanta Music Education is back by popular demand with more fun, online pod packs for kids! Starting in February, AME has 5 new classes with subjects including: singing, acting, ukulele, and movement.
Pre-K Music and Movement Class with Ms. Sarah will be hosted on Wednesdays at 10:00 am on Zoom.
Class Description: Ms. Sarah has the perfect way for your kids to enjoy their Wednesday morning! This pre-k friendly class will keep the kids entertained while also teaching them fun movements.
Fee – $100 for the entire 4-week session

Sarah Joseph is an actress and operatic soprano born and raised in Georgia. She holds a BA in Theatre & Performance Studies with a concentration in Musical Theatre as well as a minor in Voice from Kennesaw State University. Prior to transferring to KSU and making the switch to study acting and music, Ms. Sarah studied Vocal Pedagogy for 2 years.
Growing up, the arts were always an influence and passion in her life. Ms. Sarah spent many years of her childhood taking dance classes and performing in recitals including Ballet, En Pointe, Tap, and Contemporary. She also grew up taking piano lessons, performing in recitals, and playing keyboard for her youth group, where her dad taught her how to play chords and the beauty of collaborating with other musicians. Always the little ham, as a child, Ms. Sarah has fond memories of performing songs from The Sound of Music with her siblings and cousins during family get-togethers and she cannot remember a time growing up when her house wasn’t filled with music, dancing, and putting on little plays.
Some of her favorite recent roles include Clara Johnson in The Light in the Piazza, Emily in A Christmas Carol the Musical, and the Assistant to the Producer in the world premiere immersive murder mystery, Murder! at The Strand! Ms. Sarah has also enjoyed singing scenes from Cosi fan Tutte (Dorabella), La Boheme (Musetta), and the opera, Little Women (Amy March).
In addition to performing in productions with the Theatre & Performance Studies Department and the School of Music during her time at KSU, she has also performed in theatrical productions in the metro-Atlanta area. In 2019, Ms. Sarah enjoyed participating in the Georgia NATS competition where she won 1st Place in her division for classical voice, performing at Spivey Hall.
Because the arts have been so inspiring and influential in Ms. Sarah’s own life, she seeks to cultivate and give a safe space to all of her students where their love of the arts can also grow. Ms. Sarah believes in the power and healing of music and the arts and she loves seeing her students explore their own creativity. Ms. Sarah believes in creating lessons to fit each of her student’s needs and goals and to provide an educational and fun atmosphere for her students in lessons and in classes.
In her free time, Ms. Sarah enjoys studying languages such as Italian, German, and Yiddish, discovering new musicals, reading, and collaborating on virtual musical theatre projects with friends.
