Annual Polar Plunge at Flying Deer Nature Center

Once again, we’re freezin’ for a reason! Take the plunge for nature connection and Flying Deer! Now more than ever, we need to dive deep and support the next generation of earth stewards! This year, we’ll have a limited number of Plungers with us at four separate locations, and you can also plunge on your own, with family, or with friends, at your own pond or creek. We will share your amazing video footage of your plunge—including fabulous costumes!—after the event. Each registered Plunger or team of Plungers will collect sponsors whose donations go toward our Financial Assistance Fund, supporting people of all ages to experience the power of nature connection! The Plunge has personal benefits as well: Immersing ourselves in cold water can teach us that we can step beyond our perceived limitations and stay calm amidst challenging conditions.
