The Animals of Clermont - Clermont State Historic Site

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 07/19/2025
From Chancellor Livingston's prize Merino sheep to Alice Livingston's countless canine companions, The Animals of Clermont charts the timeline of Americans' evolving relationships with the animals we call our own. Visitors will be guided through a wide survey of the site's grounds and learn the stories of all the animals, whether livestock or family pets, for whom Clermont was home.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Please Note: This tour takes place both inside the mansion and outside on the park grounds. Visitors should be dressed for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Please be prepared for outdoor walking.
