Teen Summer Symposium on Human Rights

Learn about racial justice, women's rights, environmental justice, LGBT+ equality and more. Through participating in hands-on learning activities and discussions, you'll develop the knowledge and skills to make a difference in your community and world.

 The Teen Summer Symposium on Human Rights is a 3-day camp designed for students interested in social justice, politics, and current events. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from historians,  connect with advocates, and learn from survivors of human rights abuses. At the end of the program, teens will share their ideas for addressing a human rights issues important to them. Now in it's fourth year, over 150 Capital Region teens have participated in our summer programs.
