Summer Stage Acting Company
Dates: July 23 – August 10 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. | M–F
Ages: 10 – 19
Tuition: $750
Experience: Intermediate to Advanced
Performances: August 10-12, with a preview performance on August 9
Young Actors interested in honing their skills and performing on theREP’s professional stage are invited to audition for theREP’s 2018 Summer Stage Young Acting Company! This company makes up the performers that will bring to life the five winning-plays from theREP’s Young Playwright Contest. Members of the Young Acting Company will receive daily classes from professionals in the field on: acting, speech for the stage, character development and stage movement.
Auditions: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26 by appointment only by emailing casting@capitalrep.org
Location: at theREP (111 North Pearl Street Albany, NY 12207)
Audition Information:
- Please prepare a short, 1-minute, monologue.
- If you can play an instrument, please come prepared to show that ability.
- Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.
- Those auditioning should also bring the audition sheet, available from casting@capitalrep.org and available in hard copy at auditions.
