Summer Sampler - Every day Life

Summer Sampler is our week long morning program for kids. 6-8 year olds will learn about history through storytelling, crafts and games. 9-12 year olds will participate in hands on activities, games and historic crafts. Snacks and water provided.

On Wednesday we will focus on everyday life. We will learn about the life of children during the 17th century and try out some the chores they did around the house. We will also spend some time in the cellar kitchen making a few of the special treats made for celebrations such as waffles and cookies. 6-8 year olds will have stories and games. 9-12 year olds will spend more time with the hearth cook making our snack for the day. We will also have games, storytelling, snacks and other hands on activities during the morning.
