Filmmaking Academy
Dates: July 16 – 27 | 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | M–F
Ages: 15 – 18
Tuition: $500
Location: The Addy Media Lab at Proctors
Experience: Intermediate to Advanced
This two-week intensive filmmaking program is excellent for young filmmakers hoping to learn a new technique and build upon a solid foundation. The program gives students a practical framework with filmmaking skills including lighting, camera composition, and editing. Students will take on full responsibility for their projects as they work in small collaborative settings to develop the script, storyboards, and then finally shoot the project. Students will also learn how to distribute and promote their work in various ways both online and through numerous film festivals.
RESERVE EARLY Space is limited. Maximum of 15 filmmakers will be accepted into this year’s program.
