*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 02/05/2018
This monthly program is for young explorers (ages 3-6). This month we will be learning about winter animal adaptations! We will discuss simple concepts regarding the helpful traits and changes animals make in order to survive a cold winter!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This monthly program is for our youngest explorers (ages 3-6) where we use the children's love of nature to teach simple concepts. Adults are expected to attend. This is an outdoor program so please come dressed for the weather. We will go on a short walk, do a simple nature craft, and have a heathly snack! Pre-registration is required & can be done by calling the park office at 518-450-0321.

This event is also being held on January 22nd and February 5th. January’s lesson will focus on animal tracking, while in February we will be learning about trees in winter.
