     Blessed Sacrament School provides affordable Catholic education for families in West Hill, Colonie, and all around the Albany area for children from 3 years old through 8th grade.  We currently have about 200 students, and always have room for more.

     Founded in 1916 by the Sisters of Mercy, Blessed Sacrament School, with the strong support of its parish family, has earned the reputation of an outstanding academic and spiritual school.  The distinctive purpose of Blessed Sacrament School is to create a Catholic Christian Education Community. It is our hope to provide a total quality Catholic education in which each student can grow in his or her spiritual life, academic ability, and physical maturity. The faculty continues to strive to provide a Catholic Christian environment in which each student can grow to their fullest potential.

     Our academic program follows the NY State curriculum for grades K-8, and also has programs such as music, art, computer, physical education, and even Spanish as a second language starting in nursery school.  There are also ample extra-curricular offerings in which students can be involved such as math club, technology, girl scouts, boy scouts, CYO basketball, soccer, and tennis.  Our art club is directed by the art teacher and students from the College of St. Rose, and tutoring is available with students from Siena College.  For kids who want to get ahead we have advanced math classes, and for those who need a little extra help, we have Title 1 remedial reading and math.

     Compared to other Catholic schools in Albany, Blessed Sacrament’s tuition is lower, only $3,410 for the year, and goes down with each additional student.
