DEC Fisheries staff will teach program participants how to identify common sportfish, how to cast a spin-casting rod, bait a hook and fishing safety. After the fishing education portion of the program, everyone will get a fishing rod and have the opportunity to use the skills they just learned and go fishing. Participants will not need a fishing license to participate in this program. Space is limited and registration is required. Please call 872-0800 for further information.
