Kid Detective CSI

Explore STEM in a whole new way with our Kid Detective CSI program that uses an integrated approach to learn the scientific method, apply critical thinking skills, make observations, analyze facts, and draw conclusions!

Students will learn techniques used by crime scene investigators in daily labs that include fingerprinting, chromatography, chemical analysis, and shoe print impressions, to name a few. Tools students will use include a digital microscope, magnifying glasses, ink pads, and graphite powder. Solving mysteries using learned techniques will occur at different points throughout the program. Our last class will include a life-size game of CLUE!
