Join us in celebrating 35 years!
Mark your calendars for a full day of fun! Established in 1981, the IIM celebrates its 35th year as a Schoharie County-based nonprofit dedicated to sharing Iroquois culture through the arts. Iroquois Dancers will perform traditional social dances. Local musicians will perform throughout the afternoon. Wildlife rehabilitator Kelly Martin will discuss wildlife conservation and present a variety of native animals including birds of prey. Archeological demonstrations will occur throughout the day. Local vendors including Green Wolf Brewery, Maple Hill Farm and many more will have goods available for sample and sale. Barbecued meals will be available from Rubbin’ Butts of Cobleskill. Children can participate in an art show, make cornhusk dolls and hear a story by Amanda Tarbell. Try your luck in a raffle featuring art pieces by Stan Hill, Sr. and Tammy Tarbell and join in the Silent Auction featuring 2 roundtrip airline tickets courtesy of Jetblue. At the party’s end help us to release lanterns into the night sky.
