In honor of the opening of the Cornell Hill Fire Tower, we will take an in-depth look at the Saratoga Sandplains ecosystem that has historically been shaped by fire. On this guided hike through the preserve, we’ll look at how the sandplains have managed to not only survive, but thrive, in wildfires. Pre-registration is required. We will meet at the kiosk in parking lot 1 off of scout road.
