Columbus Day: Monday, October 9th 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
SLIMY SCIENCE!
Students will study Chemistry and what happens when different ingredients are mixed together and create a chemical change. We will make different types of Slime, play dough, and oobleck for the children to touch and take home to share and make more!
Veterans Day: Friday, November 10th 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
SHOES, SHOES & MORE SHOES!
Students look at the variety of shoes throughout history in our collections and see how they have changed and evolved. We will make a pencil holder in the shape of their favorite shoes out of clay and decorate with paint and accessories to take home to share and discuss.
