CapSci is a non-profit organization that aims to advance the public understanding of science in the New York Capital Region. Our mission is to promote interactions between scientists and non-scientists, to foster science-based public policy and scientifically literate policy makers, and to nurture diversity within the scientific community. Join us on Saturday, April 14th for the 2018 Albany March for Science! This will be an official sister march of the National March for Science, happening in Washington DC on the same day. At last year’s event, we hosted over 40 hands-on activity tables for families, a wildly popular kids “Meet a Scientist” scavenger hunt, exiting speakers, and a band -- all of which brought more than 3000 people to the New York Capitol to rally behind science!
