A fun series featuring "Roots" dancing. Short concert followed by a refreshment break. Then simple community circle, square, longways dances (roots of contra dance) with live fiddle music. A different theme each month!

LIVE MUSIC BY SET AMERICAIN with caller Paul Rosenberg. Short concert of Quebecois music followed by a refreshment break. Then Set Americain will play lively tunes from up north while Paul calls simple community circle, square, longways dances (roots of contra dance) with live fiddle music.

After a hard winter up north, hardy woodsfolk celebrate the coming of spring and the maple sugar harvest with dancing and treats at the "Cabane à Sucre" - the Sugar Shack! The evening starts with a short concert by Set Americain, followed by some yummy snacks and then a Maple Sugaring Dance in the grand Quebec tradition.

Yummy treats between concert and dance generously provided by Honest Weight Food Coop. Sponsored by DanceFlurry Organization
