Aerospace Engineering Summer Program

Take a closer look at aerospace engineering and learn the basic principles of aerodynamics and flight mechanics from RPI faculty who are leaders in the field.

Who: Open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
Where: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Facilities
When: Session 1: July 9-13, 2018 | Session 2: July 30- August 3, 2018 | Duration: 1 Week
Cost: Commuters: $850.00 Residential: $1835
Participants will learn the basics of aerospace engineering through lectures and aerodynamic demonstrations and experiments in a lab setting. Various experiements will be conducted on different plane models. Students will also design, build, and test two model airplanes utilizing their newly acquired aeronautical engineering knowledge. Interact with our brilliant faculty, graduate researchers, and undergraduate students in the field.
